Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira (born May 26 1977) was born in Campinas, So Paulo. Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997) are among her best-known films. Ana Paula Oliveira was appointed to the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime in March 2020. The analyst she is working with currently managing the Assassination Witness project, and is an integral member of the the GI-TOC's multilateral engagement group. The GI-TOC's research activities focus on assassinations, disappearances and other types of violence in the context of illicit economy. Apart from criminal organized, her work is focused on the human rights implications as well as international humanitarian law. Ana Paula earned an LL.M. with honors with distinction International Law at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies of Geneva. Additionally, she holds an LL.M. and an MBA in International Relations at Fundacao Getulio Vargas. Ana Paula has a bachelor degree in Legal and Social Sciences from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She is a lawyer with a license who worked at the law firm that focused on legal issues involving public law for more than four years. Her past experiences also included helping in roles with non-governmental organisations headquartered within Rio de Janeiro and Geneva.
