Mary McCormack was an American actress, best known for her portrayals as the protagonist in TV series such as "Murder One", "The West Wing", "In Plain Sight" and Loaded. Apart from her TV performances, she has been recognized for her movie roles like Private Parts, Deep Impact,?True Crime? and?"1408". She was born to a psychologist as well as an ice cream shop manager, McCormack hails from a family with no direct links to the entertainment field. She attended Wardlaw-Hartridge School, and following the separation of her parents in the year 1990, went on to attend Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, eventually graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in the field of comparative arts. Her career started at a young age of 12 when she was in a stage production of a Christmas opera titled "Amahl and the Night Visitor'. After her performance on stage she was offered the roles on small-screen and large-screen productions. Today, McCormack is recognized as one of the most flexible artistes in Hollywood. Michael Morris is her husband and she has three daughters.
